Searchpath - START HERE

Searchpath is an online self-paced tutorial that can help you learn basic library and research skills. There are five modules:

Take SearchPath to gain an understanding of how the library works, and how to find what you need! Each module takes between 15 to 20 minutes to complete. You can either watch each one in order or mix and match. It's up to you!

RefWorks

RefWorks is a bibliographic management tool that will allow you to import, store and format citations for the articles you find. It also will help you format your research papers!

View the RefWorks Tutorial: Learn how to set up a RefWorks account, then zap references from library databases straight into your account, format them, and generate a bibliography with just a few clicks. Pick from 15 sections, which can take anywhere from 45 seconds to eight minutes to watch.

Babson Library Online Tutorials

Babson Library has a growing collection of tutorials either created by Babson Library staff or collected from the web.  For a complete list of tutorials go to the Library's Tutorials web page.  This page lists selected tutorials of use to School of Human Services students.

A good place to start is the Searchpath tutorial to the right. If you've never used the library before, or aren't sure about some of the basics, this is a good place to check.

The rest of the tutorials below will show you how to use specific resources and services. If you have an idea for a tutorial you think should be here, or spot a problem with any of our existing tutorials, let us know! Email Chris at cbigelow@spfldcol.edu. Thanks!
