If you cannot find what you need here, please contact us so we can work with you.
How to Search for Information
How do you get started with your research? Simple - you need a plan.
Before you start, ask yourself these questions:
- What exactly is my topic? Be as specific as possible!
- What type of information am I looking for? Book, article, or something else?
- How much information do I need? A few facts or as much as you can find?
- Do I need scholarly information or not? There are ways to limit to scholarly material.
Your answers will help determine where and how to start your research. In fact, many of the things you need are in this guide so the next step is to look around and see what's here.
Still have questions? That's OK! You can usually contact me in the library on the days listed below and I'll be happy to answer any questions you have.
